I am a certified teacher with more than 20 years' experience working with students of all ages in a wide variety of educational settings. Helping my students accomplish their goals is one of my greatest satisfactions in life. As a parent myself, I know that even if you are well equipped to help your child, the parent-child dynamic doesn't always work. That's why I am here to help.

My practice today is mostly dedicated to comprehensive ACT/SAT preparation and the college application process. Over the course of ten years, I have developed a proprietary approach to preparing for all subject tests of the ACT and SAT. My students regularly achieve gains that are well above the national average of large, brand-name tutoring companies.
With years of experience helping students with the college application process, I know it can be both an exciting and stressful time for students and their families. There is a lot to keep track of, and things are always changing from year to year. With my guidance and support, my clients are able to navigate this process smoothly while ensuring their authentic, best selves shine through on their applications.
As a former English teacher to middle school and high school students, I still very much enjoy working with students on their literacy needs and general academic skills. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to assist my students in developing the skills that will empower them to learn throughout their lives.

"Having Jenny as my ACT tutor was great! She really personalized everything for me so that I was only working on what I needed help with. She was able to help me while still making it interesting. With Jenny's help I raised my composite score 6 points in 12 sessions!" ~ High School Junior, 2019
"Working with Jenny to prepare for the ACT and SAT was a great experience. She tailored each session to fit my academic needs and taught me how to pace myself while taking the college admissions tests, which made me feel more confident and prepared." ~High School Senior, 2019
"Jennifer Turner is an absolute master at crafting resumes. When I brought Jennifer my resume, it was cluttered, disorganized, and did not represent my strengths. Jennifer took out unnecessary verbiage, thus streamlining the look of my resume to make it more attractive to potential employers. After seeing what Jennifer did with my resume, I asked her to help construct my cover letter. She took bits and pieces of old cover letters that I had used in the past, and created a more professional cover letter for me, one that I am proud to send to prospective companies. Jennifer is a consummate professional, easy to work with, and really knows how to fashion quality pieces. I would highly recommend Jennifer Turner to anyone looking to update their resume and/or cover letter(s)." ~Adjunct Professor, 2019
